Terms of use
The short version: log honestly, be decent, and this is not medical advice.
The service
haultrek records walks made under load and ranks them. It is a logbook and a leaderboard, not a coach and not a medical device.
We are early. Features change, and while we do not intend to lose your data, you should keep your own copy of anything you cannot bear to lose — the export button exists for exactly that.
Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for what is logged under it.
Rucks entered by hand run on the honour system and are marked as such. Deliberately inflating them to climb a leaderboard is grounds for having entries removed or the account closed — it also makes the boards useless, which is the actual harm.
Your content
Your activities and route names remain yours. By making your profile public you grant us permission to display those activities on leaderboards, crew pages and your public profile.
Health
Walking under load carries real risk of injury, particularly to knees, back and feet, and particularly when weight is added faster than the body adapts. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a condition that walking under load might aggravate, ask a doctor rather than a leaderboard.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from its use.
