Who operates this site

haultrek is an independent project, not a company. It is run by one person from Warsaw, Poland, and has no employees, no investors and no parent organisation.

There is no registered entity behind it yet, so there is no registration number, VAT identifier or commercial register entry to quote. When there is, it will appear here rather than being implied elsewhere.

Email admin@haultrek.com. It reaches a person and it is the fastest route for anything — a question, a bug, a legal notice, a security report or a complaint.

There is deliberately no telephone number. An unanswered number published for the look of it is worse for you than no number at all.

Responsibility for content

Everything written on this site — the know-how articles, the calculators and the explanatory copy — is produced and edited by the operator, who is responsible for it.

Activities, crew names and profile details are supplied by the people who log them. We moderate what is reported to us and what our own plausibility checks flag, but we do not review every entry before it appears.

Links to other sites

Event listings link to the organisers who run them. Those pages are theirs: we check a link works when we add it, and we have no control over what appears on it afterwards.

Law and disputes

Polish law applies, and this site is operated from Poland. If you are a consumer in the EU, that does not deprive you of the protections of your own country's law.

The European Commission runs an online dispute resolution platform for consumer disputes. We would very much rather you emailed us first — a solo project can usually fix a problem faster than a process can describe it.
